A finals project exploring the theme of contrast through the lens of grief and memory. These images document my grandfather’s house, captured in the wake of his passing. The work juxtaposes the lively, enduring textures of the home with the profound stillness of the spaces he once occupied, finding a bittersweet contrast between the environment that remains and the presence that is gone.
